Who can own property at Durrat Al Bahrain ?
Bahraini nationals, GCC nationals, and Non-GCC nationals (Expats) are allowed to own a property/ villa in Durrat Al-Bahrain on a free hold basis



How long does the Visa process take ?
The owner is entitled once he receives the deed to obtain for residency visa/ permit, where all costs incurred in connection with the application of residence permit shall be borne by the owner of the property.



How many owners can be mentioned in the Sale Agreement ?
As many the buyer wants to include from his family, hence the liability of each shall be joint and several in the sales agreement.



Can we avail of a Sale Agreement in Arabic ?
The Sale Agreement currently is printed in English format. However, we are currently working on offering a dual double format to appear in the same sales agreement



What happens if I lose my Sale Agreement ?

In cases of default of payment, how many days is given to the customer to make payment of outstanding installment ?
According to the Sales Agreement, the purchaser shall be given (30) calender days after the due date to make the payment/ installment for the purchased property



How many days it takes to receive the Sale Agreement for signature from the date of the purchase ?
Usually it should not take more than 7 days to generate a contract and seek your signatures.



Can I add my children’s’ names to my Sale Agreement to protect the interest of my family in the event of my death ?
In the event of a death, according to Sharia Law the property will be followed for transfer on succession; or as authorized by a court order.
