Is it Freehold ?
Yes, ownership in Durrat Al Bahrain is on freehold basis.



What does freehold ownership mean ?
The owner of a freehold title of real estate/ property enjoys the most superior form of private ownership. A freeholder is considered to be the absolute owner of the land and property comprised in his title; he has the right to occupy, use and enjoy his property forever ("in perpetuity") or until he transfers the title to a new owner, and his heirs are entitled to inherit his title upon his death. Nevertheless, a freehold owner does not have total freedom to do what he wishes on his land within Durrat Al Bahrain without per-approval.



Percentage of the property that has already been sold ?
Phase 1, 2 & 3 is completely sold.



What is the profile of Durrat Al Bahrain buyers ?
Mainly Bahraini and GCC Nationals, plus other expats have invested into Durrat Al Bahrain development. The buyers are a combination of and end users, second home buyers and long term investors.

As a foreigner, would I obtain a residency visa if i buy a property in Durrat Al Bahrain ?
Yes, foreigners are qualified to obtain Residency Visa buying in Durrat Al Bahrain project, subject to the completion of the property and handover of the title deeds, as well as other factors depends on the nationality of the owner



As a foreigner, would I obtain a residency visa if I lease-out my villa ?
No, leasing a Villa does not make you eligible for a residency visa.



Can I re-sell my Villa before completion date ?
Yes, you can re-sell the property prior to completion date, subject to bringing a buyer that will fulfill to same obligations and terms the original buyer agreed upon in the sales agreement
