DURRAT AL BAHRAIN VILLAS TO BE DELIVERED IN NOVEMBER

Durrat Al Bahrain, the Kingdom’s largest planned luxury residential, commercial and tourist resort development, announced today that both phases of its residential villas will be delivered to homeowners in November this year.

Durrat Al Bahrain has created more than 1000 luxury villas situated across its unique Islands. The villas were sold to homeowners in two phases, with the first phase originally planned to be delivered in April this year. However, to ensure that new homeowners have an optimal experience when they move in, the management of Durrat Al Bahrain has taken the decision to hand over both phases of villas to homeowners simultaneously in November.

Jassim Al Jowder, CEO of Durrat Al Bahrain, said, “We have taken this decision because we wanted to ensure that all of our home owners from phases one and two moved into the tranquil settings that Durrat Al Bahrain offers. By delaying the handover, we are ensuring that all finishing work will have been completed across all of the Islands. It would have been the inappropriate to try and maintain the original hand over date, as it would not have met the expectations of our home owners. Much of the delay is due to work that is being undertaken at the moment to enhance the villas, so our investors can look forward to an even better home when they move in in November.

“We would like to take the opportunity to thank our investors, the Government of Bahrain and Kuwait Finance House, who have worked tirelessly alongside us to make our vision a reality. We would like to thank the Southern Governate particularly, for all the work they do to support us. We know that we can count on their continued support.”

Set in the azure waters of south Bahrain, the 21 km² development will offer The Islands, designed into two circular rows of six Atolls and five Petals, are 11 islands of 1800 luxury residential villas, gardens and beaches in an enchanting setting offering a sanctuary of peace and tranquillity. The Crescent will be the urban hub of Durrat Al Bahrain, where residents and visitors will be able to lose themselves in a vibrant, cosmopolitan world of sensational dining experiences and exclusive designer shopping, right in the heart of Durrat Al Bahrain. Residents, businesses and visitors will not only be able to live island lifestyles, but they will also benefit from the Golf Course, an 18 hole golf course designed by Ernie Els, the world-renowned golf champion. The Golf Course will comprise a challenging course, a club house, a driving range, a luxury hotel complex and 1400 stylishly designed luxury residential villas and apartments arranged around landscaped waterways. In partnership with Tameer, Durrat Khaleej Al Bahrain will also offer The Marina, one of the region’s leading marinas covering 700,000 m², offering 400 berths in a stunning location across three islands. Residents and visitors will be able to sail, jetski, cruise on a motor boat or simply soak up the quay-side activity.
